Michelle Pomeroy
Michelle currently produces and directs the team’s productions alongside her role as Creative Director on TED’s production team.
She has an amazing knack for identifying and surrounding herself with the world's best people. At least that's what Jake likes to tell himself. Between living and traveling in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Michelle pursued a BA in both religious studies & broadcast journalism and an MPA in international policy and nonprofit management at NYU. Her energy is committed to sharing stories that have the power to expand perspective, to make people imagine what is possible, and then to act from a place of increased compassion and awareness. Beyond the production world, Michelle loves time spent exploring nature, gaining new insights as a birth doula, horseback riding, and circling up with fellow joy seekers.
Jake Winsett
When Jake is not working on his family farm in Oklahoma or wrangling one of his little ones, Jake basically does whatever Michelle says, because in his words, "Well, she's the boss." Prior to becoming an image-maker, Jake held the CPA and CFA designations working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago with the Mergers & Acquisitions tax due diligence and global structuring team for large multi-national, strategic and private equity buyers. Jake's passion for video goes back to 1990, videoing church services from the balcony for the external monitor feed. He also loves red velvet chocolate peanut butter cup raw milk homemade ice cream.
